We install industrial, commercial and residential security systems that are custom designed to meet your specific needs. Common system components consist of door contacts, window contacts, infrared motion detectors, glass breaks, wireless devices and remote access control devices. We are Authorized and factory trained DMP Dealers.

Every home is equipped with a smoke detector, but should there be a fire, or smoke present, who notifies the fire department? A monitored smoke detector automatically sends a signal to our central monitoring station that in turn dispatches the fire department. This is all within a matter of seconds. Smoke alarms can be installed and integrated in to an existing monitored security system with relative ease. There are hard-wired and wireless options available, both equally reliable. This provides an existing homeowner with the same options as a new homeowner moving in to a newly built home.

Commercial fire Alarm and Monitoring

Monitored smoke, heat detectors and sprinkler risers are important to any commercial fire alarm system. If the devices detect smoke, fire or waterflow from a sprinkler riser system the control panel will send a signal to our Central Monitoring Station. When our trained operators receive the signal, they will immediately notify the fire department for dispatch. By installing a monitored fire alarm system in your business, you may also qualify for significant discounts on your property damage insurance. Accel Communications, inc. can design and engineer a fire alarm system that complies with current National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) code standards. From Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) design and layout to final approval by fire authorities, our design team will work with your electrical engineer, architect, Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning (HVAC), sprinkler, electrical, elevator and building contractors in order to get the job done correctly.

Access Control

An Accel Communications, Inc. access control system protects equipment, inventory and information by means of controlling employee access to certain areas. There is no longer the need to replace keys and locks when an employee is terminated, simply delete the employee’s access information with a few simple key strokes. Systems can also be designed to work in conjunction with your burglar and/or fire alarm system. If tracking within the building is necessary, the system can also be set up to provide reports which details the time employees arrive, which rooms they enter, and when they leave the building. Whether your business is small or large, there are many options and opportunities available with access control.
Selecting a security ID or access control system is one of the most important investments you’ll make in assuring the safety of the people who work in and visit your facility. That’s one reason why many leading companies have turned to Accel Communications, inc. for security identification and access control solutions.

DMP Internet Monitoring

What is an Internet Communicator?
An Internet Communicator is a Software Application or Hardware Device used to transmit Alarm and Supervisory signals from a monitored system to the Central Station via the Internet.  The Central Station receives the signal in less than 60 ms and processes the signals to the operator usually within 5 to 10 seconds.  The Central Station must have a Receiver configured appropriately to receive the Internet Communicators messages.  Each different manufacturer of Internet Communicators has their own proprietary format.
Accel Communications, Inc. currently supports the following Internet Communicators:

DMP:
DMP currently has several versions of Internet Communicators (iCOM).  Some panels also have the iCOM-E built-in.  The iCOM or iCOM-E is usually used to connect to existing DMP panels.  The iCOMsl is a "slave" which has six inputs (zones) and six outputs and can be used stand-alone or the inputs could be connected to the outputs of an alarm panel (just like a Backup Radio would be connected).

DMP recommends using a DMP SCS-1R receiver with an iCOM-E line card to receive iCOM transmissions.  Accel Communications, Inc. along with AZ Security Control has developed their own Internet Receiver which can receive signals from un-encrypted iCOMs.  We will supervise a Check-in signal up to once every five minutes (we require at least one Check-in every four hours) and we have the ability to restrict the reception of signals for an account to a pre-defined list of Allowed IP Addresses.  Any signal received that is not from an IP Address on the Allowed IP list will be logged, but not acted upon.  This can prevent Check-in Spoofing while a line is being cut, the SCS-1 does not provide this level of security.  The Source IP Address of every event received is logged to permanent history (regardless of Allowed IP supervision).  By supervising the Check-in at a shorter interval (every five minutes) and verifying the senders IP address, it is very difficult to "spoof" a signal.  Encryption adds an additional level of security in case anyone is "sniffing" your network (watching the network traffic, looking for useful un-encrypted data).  Since the Alarm communication isn't typically confidential or damaging information, encryption isn't usually necessary.

DMP Internet Monitoring

CCTV Monitoring

Accel Communications, Inc. can help you protect your business from shoplifting, employee theft and false accident claims with a complete closed circuit camera surveillance system. It will allow you to keep an eye on your entire facility at once while also eliminating the need for expensive guard services. It also addresses employee safety issues. Cameras can be mounted in locations such as parking lots, entryways and hallways to deter intruders and to keep employees safe on company premises. When used in combination with access control, camera surveillance is an extremely effective way to maintain facility safety.

Structured Wiring

Ready to Get Wired?

Buying a house today means looking toward the future... and making sure your home is wired for it.

In your search for a new home, you probably wouldn't think twice about rejecting one without indoor plumbing or air conditioning. A few years from now, a home without category 5 wiring and coaxial (RG6) cable may be just as obsolete. What are these strange-sounding wires? They're just a few of the main actors in the concept of structured wiring, a process of built-in connections to support digital video, voice and data systems. As new technologies emerge and become more connected, having a home wired to support these features could mean the difference between future-readiness and obsolescence. Many of the electronics and systems already in your home today would benefit from being interconnected from room to room. Connecting PCs and printers within the home facilitates file sharing and allows information to be sent from a PC in one room to a printer in another, similar to the setup in an office. Television connections and distribution throughout the home let you and your family watch a DVD movie in your bedroom, even when the player is hooked up to the TV in the den. So there's no need to buy a VCR or DVD player for every television in the home. Video distribution allows for the addition of in-home camera upgrades, displaying their image on any television screen in the home.

The importance of structured wiring goes far beyond what it allows you to connect now. The key is in what it will allow you to do in the future. When your home already has a structured wiring system in place, there's no need to re-wire when you add new systems, services, electronics or other devices. Your home will already be wired to accommodate additional cameras, telephones, PCs, televisions, or many other devices yet to be developed. The best time to install structured wiring into the home is during construction. The benefits are clear: you can be involved in the decision-making process of where to run the wire and where the wall ports should be located. Pre-wiring a home lets you avoid the added expense and hassle of disturbing dry wall to install the wiring into the core of the home. This process, known in the industry as, "retrofitting," is a feasible option for many homeowners, but almost always involves unwanted expenses. However, for many families, the consequences of having a home that is technologically outdated may be even more costly.
